I should go into depth with this answer because this allegation is raised many times. First of all the word tichi tichi is a mockery by the other Muslims and never appears in the promised Messiah(As)’s book even once.
Promised Messiah(As) although once had a dream which was :“On the night prior to Friday March 3, 1905, at 1:35 a.m. I saw in my dream that I was facing lack of money and other great difficulties and was very anxious. I asked someone to draw up an Income and Expenditure Statement but no one paid any heed to what I had said. I saw someone who was preparing a statement of accounts and recognized him as Lachhmi Das, who was at one time Accounts Clerk in the Treasury at Sialkot. I tried to call him but he too did not come and ignored me. I felt that there was a large shortfall and there seems to be no way to make it up. In the meanwhile, I saw a righteous person of simple mien, simply clad who poured a handful of money into my lap and left so quickly that I could not even ask his name. But there was still a shortfall. Then another righteous person came whose face was lit up and who was also of simple appearance and who resembled a sufi of Kotla, who is probably named Karam Ilahi or Fadl Ilahi. He gave us some money by selling his shirt. He had the appearance of a human being but he seemed to belong to a different creation. He filled both his hands with money and poured it into my lap. This made a lot of money. I inquired his name and he said: What is there in a name? I have no name. I urged him to tell me his name and he said: Tichi.I was deeply moved that there are people in our Jama’at who contribute sogenerously and do not disclose their names. Then I said: He was not a man. He was an angel. When I saw a lot of money in front of me, I said: Out of it,I shall give to Manzur Muhammad’s wife, for she is in need. It was 1:30a.m. when I saw this dream.”
The name used is “tichi” and it was not an angel for sure it was a thought of the messiah(As) that it may be an angel and it is clear why if you read the dream but this angel was not revealing to messiah(As) as the anti Ahmadiyya say, the only angel that revealed to Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) is the same one that revealed to Muhammad(Saw) and other prophets. “In Punjabi, tichi means, exact time or, in other words, a person who comes exactly at the time of need.”
Promised Messiah(as) states the meaning himself, yet they mock but like always when you mock Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) you are mocking other prophets also which brings me to an incident of Moses(As)where an angel of death came to moses(As) and he punched it in the eye and it went to back to Allah in a uncompleted mission. If one raises an allegation on a name of SOMEONE who Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) thought could have been an angel look how much more can be said against angels, clearly there’s nothing wrong with both situations. The Problem with anti Ahmadiyya is they think Allah only speaks Arabic for some reason which is complete ignorance as he is all knowing and can speak any language.
The full Hadith where Moses(As) punched an angel is as follows:
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ أُرْسِلَ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ إِلَى مُوسَى ـ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلاَمُ ـ فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُ صَكَّهُ، فَرَجَعَ إِلَى رَبِّهِ، فَقَالَ أَرْسَلْتَنِي إِلَى عَبْدٍ لاَ يُرِيدُ الْمَوْتَ. قَالَ ارْجِعْ إِلَيْهِ، فَقُلْ لَهُ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ عَلَى مَتْنِ ثَوْرٍ، فَلَهُ بِمَا غَطَّتْ يَدُهُ بِكُلِّ شَعَرَةٍ سَنَةٌ. قَالَ أَىْ رَبِّ، ثُمَّ مَاذَا قَالَ ثُمَّ الْمَوْتُ. قَالَ فَالآنَ. قَالَ فَسَأَلَ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُدْنِيَهُ مِنَ الأَرْضِ الْمُقَدَّسَةِ رَمْيَةً بِحَجَرٍ. قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ لَوْ كُنْتُ ثَمَّ لأَرَيْتُكُمْ قَبْرَهُ إِلَى جَانِبِ الطَّرِيقِ تَحْتَ الْكَثِيبِ الأَحْمَرِ ”. قَالَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَحْوَهُ.
The Angel of Death was sent to Moses when he came to Moses, Moses slapped him on the eye. The angel returned to his Lord and said, “You have sent me to a Slave who does not want to die.” Allah said, “Return to him and tell him to put his hand on the back of an ox and for every hair that will come under it, he will be granted one year of life.” Moses said, “O Lord! What will happen after that?” Allah replied, “Then death.” Moses said, “Let it come now.” Moses then requested Allah to let him die close to the Sacred Land so much so that he would be at a distance of a stone’s throw from it.” Abu Huraira added, “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, ‘If I were there, I would show you his grave below the red sand hill on the side of the road.” (Sahih al Bukhari #3407, Book 60 Hadith 80 and Vol 4, book 55 Hadith #619)
Now according to the Anti Ahmadi logic Moses(as) would be known as a false prophet, God Forbid. They should remember that there are so many angels and we are not aware of all names. Some names would indeed sound strange to the people who are not familiar with religion. Secondly Ahmad(as) thought this was an angel and the meaning of tichi in punjabi is clear.
