Ayah means a miracle, a sign, and verse. Not necessarily Quranic verse. Ahmad(As) was not referring to a Quranic verse here.rather was explaining a miracle or sign in general. Never did the Promised Messiah(as) write the ayah of the Qur’an as the anti Ahmadis lie and mistranslate his words rather he only used the word ayah. He was not referring to the Qur’an at all here.
وَقُلْ جَاءَ الْحَقُّ وَزَهَقَ الْبَاطِلُ ۚ إِنَّ الْبَاطِلَ كَانَ زَهُوقًا And say, ‘Truth has come and falsehood has vanished away. Falsehood does indeed vanish away fast.’(Chapter 17 Verse 82)
