This allegation is once again completely out of context.
They non Ahmadi Muslims quote:
The basis for our claims is not Hadith but Quran and that Wahi (revelation) which comes to me. Yes, in support we also present those Hadith which are according to Quran and do not contradict my Wahi. Rest of the Hadith, I throw them away like a waste paper.(Nazul-e-Masih, Ruhani Khazain, Volume 19 page 140)
Let us look at the context now :
Then, Maulvi Sanaullah sahib said: ‘how did the thought of the prophecy of the Promised Messiah come to your heart since it is taken from Ahadith, then why isn’t there any acceptance of the authority of Ahadith’. Simply people say this either in a mocking way or in a foolish way and we in reply, answer by swearing in the name of Allah that Hadith is not the basis of my claim instead the basis of my claim is the Holy Quran and that revelation which I have received. Though for the sake of corroboration, We do present those Ahadith that concur with the Holy Quran and do not oppose my revelation. And we throw away the rest of Ahadith like they are valueless.
This is by far one of the most ignorant allegation as the context itself answers it like the other ones as well. There are many grades to the ahadith which include ahadith being sahih, hasan, and even daeef or considered total fabrications where narrators are not even known. Even Bukhari has false narrations for example a “hadith” stating Ibrahim(as) lied three times God forbid. Such ahadith are not and can not be accepted. Quran is the only 100% word of Allah and so is the revelation given to Ahmad(As) but not all ahadith are authentic.
