Welcome to Ahmadi Answers

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad(as) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus(as) of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(saw). We believe that according to the Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad(saw) it is clear that the latter day messiah would be an imam from amongst the Muslims. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus(as), to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and re-institute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad(as)’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.

FINALITY OF PROPHETHOOD

Reality of Prophethood From The Holy Qur’an

This section will prove from the Qur’an that Indeed the Prophet Muhammad(saw) is the last law bearing prophet, however a prophet had to come from this ummah as well as he himself has also prophesied. This proof however should not be something shocking to a sincere non Ahmadi Muslim as they themselves await a prophet.(Note:Ahmadi Muslims count Bismillah as a verse, so for example Chapter 4 Verse 70 would be Chapter 4 verse 69)

Answering Allegations on Prophethood From Qur’an

This section will deal with the allegations that the Non Ahmadi Muslims most often quote as an attempt to prove that Allah has stopped one of his greatest blessing, of sending us His prophets.(Note:Ahmadi Muslims count Bismillah as a verse, so for example Chapter 33 Verse 41 would be Chapter 33 verse 40)

Reality of Prophethood From The Ahadith

This section will show from the Ahadith that prophethood is indeed open. No Non Ahmadi should really need to argue on this point as they themselves await a prophet. Some have said that Isa(as) would lose his prophethood in his second coming but this is totally false. The Holy Prophet Muhammad(Saw) has clearly stated that he would be a prophet.

Answering Allegations On Prophethood From Ahadith

This section will reply to the arguments the Non Ahmadis try to quote in regards to showing that Prophethood is closed. They are quite often quoted but are misinterpreted by them. They try closing prophethood through ahadith but await a prophet which shows a clear contradiction.
