Welcome to Ahmadi Answers

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad(as) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus(as) of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(saw). We believe that according to the Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad(saw) it is clear that the latter day messiah would be an imam from amongst the Muslims. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus(as), to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and re-institute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad(as)’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.

Moses(as) Alive According to Ahmad(as)?

The anti Ahmadi Muslims have a habit of taking writings of the Promised Messiah(as), Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) completely out of context and this is what they have been doing for over hundred years and are having no success at all, yet they continue. The new allegation they bring up is they try to state Ahmad(as) believed that Moses(as) was physically alive. This is a clear lie. They quote that Ahmad(as) stated you cannot find ayahs about Isa(as) like the ayahs in the Qur’an about Musa(as). It states in the Qur’an that he had a meeting the the messenger Muhammad(saw) while a dead person cannot meet a living person. Ahmad(as) is making it clear here that there are so much proofs for the death of Isa(as) yet you believe that he is alive, and there are proofs in the Qur’an that suggest Moses(as) is alive, yet you say he is dead which makes no sense. Of course we have to remember that Moses(as) and all other prophets are spiritually alive, however Ahmad(as) showed a hypothetical statement here showing that there is more proof for Moses(as) being alive than Isa(as) yet we consider him dead. Ahmad(as) shows that the Qur’an clearly declares Isa(as) to be dead but does not clearly declare Moses(as) to be dead, yet they decide to keep Isa(as) alive and Moses(as) dead. In reality we know from the Qur’an and the teachings of Ahmad(as) and the ijma of the sahaba that all prophets before Nabi(saw) have died. Allah states:

And Muhammad is only a Messenger. Verily, all Messengers have passed away before him. If then he die or be slain, will you turn back on your heels? And he who turns back on his heels shall not harm Allah at all. And Allah will certainly reward the grateful. (Chapter 3 verse 145)

The second passages they quote are also completely out of context. They quote:

Ahmad(as) here is also using the same hypothetical argument and shows us that he has given a lot of arguments for the death of Isa(as) whose death is clear, while the death of Moses(as) is not as clear. He also states that hypothetically that because of this it should be fard on us that we should believe Moses(as) is alive in the heavens and not among the dead, rather than Isa(as). This was only a hypothetical statement as the anti Ahmadis forget to read the very next page where Ahmad(as) states:

Ahmad(as) right on the next page makes it clear that all prophets before Isa(as) have died according to the Qur’an by quoting:

The Messiah, son of Mary, was only a Messenger; surely, Messengers like unto him had indeed passed away before him. And his mother was a truthful woman. They both used to eat food. See how We explain the Signs for their good, and see how they are turned away. (Chapter 5 verse 76)

If the anti Ahmadis were sincere and truthful such an allegation would never arise. All they had to do was read the very next page where Ahmad(as) makes everything clear in the first few sentences.
