Welcome to Ahmadi Answers

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad(as) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus(as) of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(saw). We believe that according to the Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad(saw) it is clear that the latter day messiah would be an imam from amongst the Muslims. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus(as), to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and re-institute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad(as)’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.

Qur’an Is God’s Book and Words of my Mouth?

This is out of context from a long revelation. Allah is talking about himself this isn’t about the Messiah(as). Allah is saying this to the Messiah(as). First of all this has been clarified by the messiah(As) himself badr vol6 number 28 july 11 1907 page 6 the Messiah(As) says he was asked who is the subject indicated by the word my in this revelation. Promised Messiah(As) said this means the words of Allahs mouth.

In Quran the same way things are said for example in Surah al Fatiha :

Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone do we implore for help (Chapter 1 verse 5)

Now does this mean that Allah is God forbid saying that He only worships Muhammad(Saw) and implores him for help? Of course not. Anyone with even a little bit of Quranic understand would agree that this is not what the Qur’an states, nor what Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) has stated.

Again Allah States:

And Allah it is Who sends the winds which raise the clouds; then do We drive them to a lifeless tract of land, and quicken thereby the earth after its death. Likewise shall the Resurrection be.(Chapter 35 Verse 10)

Allah says Allahs sends the winds betrays the clouds then do we drive them to a lifeless track of land then quicken by their earth by its death likewise the resurrection be. It begins with Allah in third person by saying and Allah it is who sends the winds but then it switches by the third person by we drive them so your allegation is not really on Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) rather on how Allah has revealed for the past 1400 years.

The Promised Messiah(as) when asked about this revelation has explained this point himself in Badr Volume 6 no.28 July 11, 1907.

“The Promised Messiah (as) was asked who is the subject indicated by the word ‘My’ in the revelation: ‘The Holy Qur’an is the Book of God and is the word of My mouth,’ i.e., whose mouth is referred to. He said, ‘It means the words of Allah’s mouth. Allah the Almighty has said, ‘The words of My mouth.’ There are instances in the Holy Qur’an where different pronouns are used for the same subjects.
