Welcome to Ahmadi Answers

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is the only Islamic organization to believe that the long-awaited Messiah has come in the person of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) (1835-1908) of Qadian. Ahmad(as) claimed to be the metaphorical second coming of Jesus(as) of Nazareth and the divine guide, whose advent was foretold by the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad(saw). We believe that according to the Qur’an and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad(saw) it is clear that the latter day messiah would be an imam from amongst the Muslims. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community believes that God sent Ahmad(as), like Jesus(as), to end religious wars, condemn bloodshed and re-institute morality, justice and peace. Ahmad(as)’s advent has brought about an unprecedented era of Islamic revival. He divested Islam of fanatical beliefs and practices by vigorously championing Islam’s true and essential teachings.

Contradition in Izala-e-Auham on claim of Masih?

Contradition in Izala-e-Auham on claim of Masih?

They quote two things out of context. One where Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) states that I did not claim to be Isa Ibn Maryam and another where he says I am the Promised Messiah.

This is totally taken out of context to deceive the public. The Promised Messiah(as) has never claimed to be the same Jesus Son of Mary sent to Bani Israel nor does anyone believe this. The Promised Messiah(as) here has replied to the allegations made against him on the basis of the ahadith that the non Muslims have misunderstood. No hadith mentions that Isa(as) would return rather the word descend is used which was even used in the Qur’an for the Prophet Muhammad(saw) . Allah states:

Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment; so fear Allah, O ye men of understanding, who have believed. Allah has indeed sent down to you a Reminder — A Messenger, who recites unto you the clear Signs of Allah, that he may bring those who believe and do good deeds out of every kind of darkness into light. And whoso believes in Allah and does good deeds — He will make him enter Gardens, through which rivers flow, to abide therein for ever. Allah has indeed made excellent provision for him.(Chapter 65 verse 11-12)

It is clear that when nazul is used for a person it means they were born on earth and came from among the people. The allegation is completely baseless as The promised Messiah(as) is a maseel of Isa(as) rather than the same Jesus(as) of 2000 years ago who has already died. The Promised Messiah(as) came in his likeness not as a reincarnation, which these anti Ahmadis should know is not an Islamic belief. Ahmad(as) is simply replying to the allegations made against him where people thought he claimed to be the same Jesus of 2000 years ago. Context is key and when one reads the context everything becomes clear.
