This is just another false allegation against Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as). The non Ahmadis accuse him of claiming to be a literal son of God. This however is truly false. The passage they try to quote is as follows:
‘The host will be scattered and they will tum their backs. Fear not My servant, I hear and see. See you not that We are reducing the earth from its borders? See you not that Allah has power to do all that He wills. Call down blessings on Muhammad and the people of Muhammad, Chief of mankind and Seal of Prophets”(Anjam-e-Atham, Ruhani Khazain, Volume 11 page 54)
The Arabic hear is suppose to be Asm’aa wa araa which means I hear and see but was sadly misprinted to asm’aa wa’lade which means listen my son. If one knows the Arabic language it is quite easy to spot the error in the printing. The problem is that the alif and ra were joined together and the copyist was confused between l’am and dal so what was suppose to Ar, became la’d. Araa took the shape of lade which made asm’aa wa araa into asm’aa wa’lade.
Now the sad part is that anti Ahmadis still quote such an old allegation which Al Bushra corrected themselves and also sent a notice to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat stating:
‘ln line 10 of page 49 of Al Bushra. vol. 1, the revelation of the Promised Messiah Asm’aa wa Araa has been incorrectly written as Asm’aa Wa’lade. lt is regretted that so far none of our friends was able to point out this error and I am indeed grateful to a kind friend for drawing my attention to it. When compared with the original copy’ it was found that the correct revelation was Asm’aa wa Araa. All those friends who possess a copy of this issue of Al Bushra may kindly make the necessary correction'(Al Fazl, Vol 9, Page 96)
There are other allegations where Ahmad(as) was told you are to me like my son but this was indeed not literal. Ahmad(as) himself states:
“Of the attributes of God to which the Holy Qur’an calls us is that Allah is Single and He Begets not, nor is He Begotten”(Philosophy of the Teachings of Islam , p. 58, Ruhani Khazain, vol. 10, p. 372)
All these revelations of Ahmad(as) are not to be taken literal. For this revelation himself he(as) wrote :
“Holy is God Almighty from having sons and this expression has been used as a metaphor”(Haqeeqatul Wahi, p. 86; Ruhani Khazain vol. 22, p. 89)
The Holy Prophet Muhammad(saw) himself stated:
‘The creatures of God Almighty are His children and whosoever shows kindness unto His family is indeed His most beloved servant(Mishkat)
This is of course not literal either as we are metaphorically children of Allah but not in the literal sense.
Hadhrat Jalal Ud Din Rumi(rh) has stated:
“The apostles of God are symbolically His sons”(Rumi, Hadhrat Jalal al Din, Mathnavi, vol iii, p. 13)
Hadhrat Shah Wali Ullah Dehlvi(rh) stated:
‘if God employs the word son for His beloved then one should not be surprised since it is not meant in the literal sense.(Shah, Hadhrat Wali Ullah, vide. AI Fauz al Kabeer, p. 8)
Hadhrat Maulana Muhammad Qasim Nanotwi stated:
‘If God calls a pious man His son, it only means that He is graciously inclined to him and is kind to him. lt would be totally wrong to interpret such a statement literally.(Nanauta Muhammad Qasim. vide. Hujjatul Islam, p. 14)
This is not literal. The mullahs spread lies, and never read anything in context. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) clearly says that they are not literal children of Allah, because this is kufr and Allah is clean from children and does not have any nor will he ever have any. They are only called childrens of Allah because like children in joy remember Allah in everything.Allah states:
And when you have performed the acts of worship prescribed for you, celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that. And of men there are some who say, ‘Our Lord, grant us good things in this world;’ and such a one shall have no share in the Hereafter(Chapter 2 Verse 201)
Remember Allah like you remember of your fathers rather with greater remembrance. Who remembers their fathers? Of course children. The word like is clearly there its not literally saying that Allah is your father. You should remember Allah like you remember your father. Every time Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad(as) states such a statement he makes this clear. The Jews did exactly this and twisted the words of prophets and were misguided because of this and the same has happened to the Muslims sadly. May Allah guide them to the true teachings of Islam, Ameen,
Ahmad(as) has himself stated:
‘Those people who efface their identity in the love of God are called the sons of God. But this does not mean that they are His sons in the literal sense since such an assertion would be positively blasphemous as Holy is He, far above having any sons. They are figuratively called the sons of God because like children, they remain in constant remembrance of God with complete devotion. God refers to this kind of supplication in the Quran when He states: Remember Allah with such love as children love their father. This is why God has been called the father in the Arya scriptures and has also been figuratively compared to a mother in so much that as a mother nourishes a child from her womb, God nourishes His creatures in the lap of His love and hence they are able to discard an evil nature and achieve a pious one. Therefore, when the saints are called sons of God by the pious, it is meant in a figurative sense only otherwise God is far above having any sons and He begets not, nor is He begotten(Haqeeqatul Wahi, p. 144; Ruhani Khazain vol. xxii, p. 582)
Again he states:
‘God is far above having any sons and this expression has been used metaphorically because in this age, ignorant Christians have deified Jesus on account of such expressions and Divine wisdom demanded the use of an even stronger expression with regard to this humble one so that Christians should realise that stronger expressions than those on the basis of which they deified Jesus(as) have been used with regard to the followers of the Holy Prophet(sa) of lslam (Haqeeqatul Wahi, p. 86; Ruhani Khazain, vol. xxii, p. 8)
